MO State Meeting - Minutes Sunday August 30th,

I. The State will follow the USAG Code of Points for the
following: A. Athlete and Coaches attire B. Judges Dress Code
C. Judges Pay D. Competition Rules and Mobility E. State
Board’s vote will be by secret ballot F. Beginning at Level 8,
the State Chair will track mobility for each athlete
II.
Rules and Policies for the State of Missouri A. Election
Procedures will follow Regional and National Guidelines B. USAG
Membership List
Each club will be required to turn in current and updated
athlete, coaches and judges list to the State Director before the
first meet of the season.
C. State Membership Fees 1. Failure to pay State
Membership Fee a. Your club will not be allowed a vote\
b. Your club will not receive any meet information from the state
c. Your club CANNOT enter a state sanctioned meet
Current fees: New Club $50.00 Current Club $25.00

D. Scholarship/Athlete Funding Current Policy: The
State will fund Missouri athletes who are members of the US Team to
International Competitions.
Vote on Funding Motion to stay with current policy -

E. Awards Current Policy: Eligibility meet awards are
the choice of the host team. Flight awards will be given after each
flight. Top 3 Overall awards will be presented for more than one
flight.
State Championships awards will be 1-3 medals (supplied by A1
Awards) Ribbons 4-10 places. Team Awards.
Vote on Awards Motion to stay with current policy -

F. Admission
Vote on Admission Policy Motion to leave admission cost to
host team - Barbara Johnson 2nd - Mary Swafford 7
votes for, 1 against, 1 abstain Motion passed.
New Policy: Admission cost is open to gym’s discretion MUST
be included in meet information
G. Judges Penalties Current policy - Each team is required
to provide a judge for each discipline they entered. The penalty is
$1 per athlete per discipline that does not have a judge provided. A
separate check will be made out to MO T&T Association and mailed
directly to the State Director. New clubs in their first year of
competition will not be charged a penalty.

H. Entry Fee Surcharge
Vote on Entry Fee Surcharge Motion to raise judges pay
surcharge to $6.50 and athlete fund surcharge to $2.00 - Mary
Swafford 2nd- Carl Neidholdt 9 votes for, 0 against
Motion passed.
New Policy: $8.50 total fee. Breakdown: Judges Pay $6.50
Athlete Fund $2.00
Total $8.50
I. Meet Entry Fees
Vote on Entry Fees Motion to raise entry fees to $40 for
the first event, $5 each additional with a $50 maximum. - Mary
Swafford 2nd - Angela Jones 8 votes for, 1 against
Motion passed
New Policy: Eligibility Meets - $40 1st event, $5
each additional, $50 maximum for all events.
State Championships - $60 1st event, $5 each
additional, $75 maximum for all events.
J. Meet Information Must be sent out 45 days before date
of meet Facility dimensions and any obstacles must be listed in
information List of exact equipment being provided Training
session the night before for Level 10 and up. Hosting club will be
responsible for providing spotters.
Score sheets must be copied and mailed directly to the State
Director within 48 hours of competition. If a KS or OK
club attends your meet, a copy of meet results needs to be sent
directly to them also.
Vote on Meet Information Motion to also include a copy
of each team’s USAG roster with entries - Mary Swafford 2nd

New Policy: Each team must include a copy of their USAG team
roster with their entries.
K. Registration Forms Current policy - Uniform entry form
for all teams, must include club number. Forms available on the MO
State Website.
L. Meet Schedule Preparation Current policy - Connie
Fortner will prepare the meet schedule at a cost of .75 per athlete,
or will prepare the schedule, score sheets, and flight sheets at a
cost of $1.50 per athlete. If you choose to not have Connie prepare
the meet schedule, you must list who is preparing the meet schedule.
M. Meet Levels Current policy - TR: Level 1-Elite, TU:
Level 1-Elite, DMT: Level 5-Elite
Syncro: Level 10-Elite. Level 9 Syncro may be offered if included
in the meet information.
N. Level 3B Tumbling All Missouri meets will offer
Level 3B Tumbling.
Vote on Level 3B Tumbling Motion to keep offering Level
3B tumbling in MO state meets - Angela Jones 2nd -

O. Equipment Requirements Current Policy: Must meet
USAG code of points requirements. Throw in mat for each trampoline
and a sting mat for tumbling must be provided. The tumbling floor
must have sidelines marked according to the code of points.
Vote on Equipment Requirements Motion to keep current
policy - Teddy Johnson 2nd - Angela Jones 8 votes
for, 0 against Motion passed.
P. MO State Championship Competition Current Policy: The
State Board and member clubs will host the MO State Championships.
MO State Championships will be held at MSSU in Joplin at the Legit &
Platt Center each year.
Vote on State Director’s Pay Motion to set pay at $750
plus $1 per athlete entered in MO State Championships plus mileage -
Carl Neidholdt 2nd - Angela Jones 8 votes for, 0
against Motion passed.
New Policy: State Director will act as Meet Director for the
MO State Championships and be paid $750 plus $1 per athlete entered
in the MO State Championships and paid mileage.
Q. State Newsletter Will be posted on the MO State Website
Posted quarterly Include more recognition of athlete achievements
R. State Web Site Current up and running Maintenance
fee - $25 per month/$75 per quarter

T. Jump Start Coordinator Must be current with updates
& attending jump start meeting at Nationals. Jump Start Clinic -
must be completed by October 25, 2009 Contact: Ken Edwards
U. Coaches Fund
Vote on Coaches Fund Motion to use profit from State
Clinic to fund coaches to International Competitions to represent to
US Team - Angela Jones 2nd - Gene Kohler 8 votes
for, 0 votes against Motion passed.
New Policy: The MO State Clinic profits will be used to fund
coaches to international competition to represent the US Team.
V. Computer Scoring The State of Missouri will begin
research into purchasing state-owned computers to be used at all
meets.
Tentative Meet Schedule Xtreme Trampoline: January 16th
or 17th, 2010 - Lee’s Summit Area Kansas City
Trampoline Club: February 14, 2010 - Independence Events Arena
St. Louis Elite: March 6th or 7th, 2010 - St.
Louis Area Head Over Heels: March 20th, 2010 -
Marshfield Area Tumble Town: April 17th, 2010 -

ITEMS FROM THE NATIONAL OFFICE: *Athletes cannot coach
other athletes - all coaches must have a pro number. *If you are
sending another coach in your place, they must have their pro number
and proof with them. * World Championships every year instead of
every other year. * Mobility - athletes MUST enter at Level 7 or
below - NOT Level 8. * Athletes can move up 2 levels during a
local meet - Must have meet director’s approval. * Mobility forms
must be turned into the State Director. * If you compete in a
meet in another state, it is your responsibility to send a copy of
the scoresheets to the State Director. *Meet Directors - if you
have clubs from other states attend your meet, you need to send a
copy of the scoresheets to the State Director of that state.
*Scores need to be posted at all meets.
